Compressed air precision filter grade description

Compressed air precision filters deal with compressed air containing impurities such as dust, oil, rust and water. When the compressed air passes through the filter, the larger particles will be adsorbed on the filter material, and the moisture will condense into larger water droplets and be discharged. The water droplets that have not been filtered out are vaporized, converted and filtered out again. After dust removal, rust removal, oil removal and water removal, the purpose of reducing the residual oil content is achieved. It is used for general protection after the rear cooler of the air compressor and before other filters; it is used as a pre-treatment device before the cold dryer.

Precision air filters and filtration systems remove these contaminants and keep your compressed air system fit for the application. High quality compressed air, whether required for factory, instrumentation or medical equipment, helps you maintain a consistent supply of compressed air Air quality, and minimize operating costs.

Description of precision filter element level:

1 DD Series: Polymeric particulate filters for general protection that remove liquid water and oil mist as small as 0.1 mg/m3 (0.1 ppm) and particles as small as 1 micron.

2 DDP series: Particle filter for dust removal, which can eliminate particles as small as 1 micron.

3 PD Series: High efficiency polymeric particulate filters that eliminate liquid moisture and oil mist as small as 0.01 mg/m3 (0.01 ppm) and particles as small as 0.01 microns.

4 QD series: Activated carbon filter for eliminating oil vapor and hydrocarbon odor with a maximum residual oil level of 0.003 mg/m3 (0.003 ppm), must be installed after the PD filter.

How to distinguish the pros and cons of air filters

Whether the air filter quality is good or not depends mainly on the following three aspects:

(1) waterproof performance;

(2) Filtration accuracy;

(3) Air permeability. ??

The detection is as follows:

(1) Water test. Put the air filter flat on the ground or table, sprinkle some water on the filter paper;

(1) If the filter paper seeps water within 5 minutes, it is an air filter made of cotton pulp paper (inferior filter paper);

(2) If the filter paper seeps water for 2-5 hours, it is made of low-grade wood pulp paper and can be used, but it will reduce the gas production efficiency of the air compressor (more power consumption and more gas production);

(3) If 12-15 seeps water, it belongs to mid-grade filter paper;

(4) If no water seeps in within 24 hours, it is a high-grade filter paper.

(2) Look at the light to see whether the filter paper is uniform, whether the light transmittance is good, and whether the surface finish of the filter paper is good. It reflects the filtration accuracy and air permeability.

(3) Look at the depth and number of folds of the filter paper. If the filter paper is deep and the number of folds of the filter paper is large, it means that the filter area of the air filter is large.

Users with particularly harsh environments are advised to clean the air filter once a day, and replace the air filter every 500-800 hours; customers with a moderate environment clean the air filter once every 3-7 days, and replace the air filter every 1000-1500 hours; customers with a good environment 1500-2000 Change the air filter every hour.
