High temperature and normal temperature type of refrigerated air dryer

Although the refrigerated dryer is the most basic water removal equipment in the compressed air post-treatment, but there are different kinds of refrigerant dryers, we often heard that is, room temperature type refrigerant dryer and high temperature type refrigerant dryer, so what is the difference between them? The difference mainly lies in the fact that the refrigerant dryer can be divided into high temperature refrigerant dryer and room temperature refrigerant dryer according to the denominator of the inlet air temperature.

High temperature refrigerant dryers are used to deal with compressed air with inlet air temperature up to 60°C and 80°C, while low temperature type refrigerant dryers are commonly used to deal with compressed air below 45°C.

The temperature of compressed air is determined by the air compressor and the ambient temperature, for the drying effect of the refrigerant dryer, the lower the inlet air temperature the better, because the refrigerant dryer is to reduce the temperature of compressed air through freezing technology to liquefy the gaseous water molecules in it, so as to achieve the purpose of drying.

The high-temperature type refrigerant dryer is characterized by the configuration of the pre-cooler in the equipment, the high-temperature humid hot air will be initially cooled, and then enter the heat exchange system of the refrigerant dryer to do the heat exchange drying process to ensure that it can achieve the appropriate degree of dryness.

And also called room temperature refrigerant dryer in this design, less a pre-cooler, other structures and high temperature type basically the same.

Generally speaking, if you can not use the high-temperature type refrigerant dryer should not be used, after all, it requires greater electricity consumption to dry processing, increasing the cost of electricity consumption.

So it is necessary to ensure that the ambient temperature and inlet air temperature is kept in a relatively low environment. Generally, the air compressor is located in a plant with good ventilation conditions, and at the same time, choose the air compressor with good heat dissipation effect.

Because refrigerated dryers and air compressors are high power consumption equipment, and the operating cost is also accounted for most of the total cost of the overall air compressor and refrigerant dryer, so especially in the choice of air compressor, can choose energy-saving conditions is good for the later operation to save a large amount of money.
