Compressed air filter introduction

Compressed air filters are mainly used for compressed air purification, debris removal and filtration of dust, water vapor and unburned hydrocarbons mixed in compressed air In addition, the lubrication system of air compressors produces contaminants such as wear particles and oil. Even compressors can produce these substances. This oil is acidic and is a poor quality oil that does not work as a lubricant. Corrosion in the piping of the compressed air distribution system also causes contamination of the compressed air.

This dust, oil and water mix together to form a harmful corrosive sludge that can wear out pneumatic equipment, clog valves and corrode lines, resulting in: air leakage, tool and equipment damage, production standstill, increased maintenance costs, product scrap, health risks and a compromised work environment.
